  • Dire…. If you had to think of one word to sum up Clydebank’s second half display against Rossvale it would be just that. How the Bankies managed to win this game is an utter mystery, as that was about as bad as it gets. Things got worse as the game progressed, and credit for that must go to the visitors as they had desire, energy and were the only team playing any decent football on the night. It started off so well for the Bankies as Hepburn scored a fabulous goal, but when Rossvale equalised from the spot with quarter of an hour to go it looked like there was only going to be one winner. Then, a defensive disaster allowed Stevie Higgins to grab a late winner that was totally undeserved.

  • Clydebank’s unbeaten start to the season came to an end with a 4-0 thumping at the hands of Auchinleck Talbot at Beechwood Park this afternoon. The Bankies will feel the score is a bit harsh overall, but did not look likely to come back after the loss of the first goal. In fact, it wasn’t too much of a surprise that the home side added to their tally.
