Timeline

  • Date of Birth

Sam was born on this date in Tarbolton.

  • For their opening League Cup match, Clydebank traveled to Arbroath. McCallan and Larnach were both fit and included in the side. Arbroath started aggressively and, twice in the opening minutes Clydebank's offside tactics almost lost them a goal.

  • Bankies 100 per cent record finally went at Kilbowie when, in atrocious conditions, hey were held to a draw by a fighting Rovers side. Neither team really mastered the tricky conditions, but full credit to every player involved for putting on an exciting show for the fans who braved the elements.

  • Bankies powered their way to another sparkling league victory at Coatbridge and in doing so opened up a three point lead at the top of the division. They were a different class to the plucky Albion Rovers who were run ragged by a brilliant display of attacking football.

  • Last Appearance - Albion Rovers 2 - 0 Clydebank

With their most inept display of the season, Bankies went down to Albion Rovers last Saturday but thanks to the 4-1 victory from the first leg they still qualified to meet East Fife in the quarter finals.
