New Kilbowie Park on Friday, August 4th, 1967

A crowd of about 8000 were at Kilbowie Park to see Bankies play English FA Cup finalists Chelsea in a friendly game and curtain raiser to the season.The town council were there as were some of Chelsea's supporters who had travelled up to see their team face Aberdeen earlier in the week.Chelsea did not win at Pittodrie and surprisingly they did not win at Kilbowie either. Glenhead Park on Saturday, August 27th, 2005

A Ryan Waddell free-kick after 63 minutes proved to be the difference between the two sides at Glenhead Park. Bankies were involved in a battle from the start of this game and the referee was kept busy with a number of free-kick awards through-out the game. The ref avoided a dishing out cards in favour of giving players a 'talking to' for the most part. The first half saw very few clear chances created for either side.
