Match Report

Played at Kilbowie Park on Saturday in the Glasgow League competition. The Juniors started, and McLone placed the ball at the disposal of his forwards. Ashcroft kicked over to Ralston, who scored easily five minutes after the opening. Play was fairly equal after this, but the 'Shire made some clever attacks on the Clydebank goal, which, however, were also cleverly met.

Kerr was the first to make good use of his opportunities, and after a, couple of attempts he succeeded in equalising. Anderson realised a second goal for the Juniors, and the 'Shire forwards failed in an effort to beat Bell, who cleared smartly just as the interval was signalled.

The Juniors, with the wind in their favour, were almost assured of a win in the second half. Play was scarcely started when another point was added to Clydebank's score, and Ralston quickly added one more. Daly failed in his attempt to save Ralston's shot, and he himself dropped the ball into the net. With play well balanced, towards the finish Kelly put on the fifth point for the Juniors. Kerr scored for the 'Shire from a penalty against Barr, and before the game was brought to a close Ashcroft had added the sixth goal.

**Glasgow Perthshire protested this match and it was ordered to be replayed
