Despite the inclement weather conditions there was a fair attendance at this League fixture. The home team were the first to become aggressive, but owing to the clever defence of the visitors, they could not score, although some good tries were made. On the other hand, the Rangers sent in some lively shots to McTurk, but he managed to keep his charge intact. Up to the interval neither team had scored, but immediately play was resumed R. Anderson opened the scoring for the homesters. Twenty minutes later Hill added another, and, despite the strenuous efforts of the visitors, the Juniors kept them well in hand and prevented them from scoring. Close on time D. Anderson added a third point to the home score.
