Match Report
The final tie in the Shire Cup took place at Yoker in miserable weather. Mulheron scored the first goal of the match for the Hibs who played well at the start, and it was some time later before Anderson managed to equalise. At the interval the score was one goal each. Trainer was injured and had to leave the field, but reappeared in the second half. The Hibs failed to score from a penalty and half an hour from the end the referee stopped the game with the teams equal at one each.
