Match Report
The Juniors started, but were not allowed to travel far, Finlayson tackling Hill and sending well down field. Forrester cleared, and the Juniors took play to the other end, where a misunderstanding between Lewis and Cook allowed Brander to walk in and score. Rangers tried desperately to equalise but failed, and at half-time Juniors led by 1 to 0. The Rangers started the second half very quickly, only a little slackness in front of goal keeping them from equalising. As it was, Hill capped a fine run by scoring a second goal. Brander then hit the crossbar, and Hill caught the rebound and scores a third goal. Walker repeatedly broke through, and on one occasion shot at five yards range, but straight at Forrester, who saved.
