Match Report

Played at Kilbowie, before a good turnout of spectators. The opening of the game was all in favour of the home team, and the Parkhead defence had a stiff time preventing the downfall of their goal. The pressure gradually told home, and Rollo opened the scoring with a fine shot. Three minutes later the same player added a second goal. This reverse had the effect of making the Parkhead team improve in their play, and through Brown they succeeded in scoring. Near to half-time Clydebank added a third goal, Gray being responsible. The second half was much more evenly contested than the first. Parkhead did most of the running, and when Brown scored a second goal for them, it looked as if the game would end in a draw. Clydebank, however, held their own and won by 3-2.
