Match Report

Somewhat unexpectedly and undeservedly was Perthshire beaten on Saturday at Nelson Park, Maryhill, Clydebank Juniors earning full League points by the narrow margin of one goal. The game, although never in any way brilliant, was yet withal of an interesting nature to the fairly good crowd that braved the elements. Perthshire should have scored early, but the chance was let slip, whereas Leitch made no mistake for Clydebank. When it looked as if the ground team would cross over a goal down, Hamilton got the equaliser. The second half was even faster than the first, and although wanting the services of Anderson for a time, Clydebank got the only goal of this half, and had thus the honour of taking home a couple of points when even one would have been deemed satisfactory.
