Biography
Alan McKenzie was a much travelled striker in the basement league in Scottish football. He had his best spell at Cowdenbeath where he finished as top scorer in 1990-91. Clydebank had him along as a trialist at the start of 1991-92 as he was out of contract at Central Park. He played one match for the Bankies in the pre-season friendly against Bristol City where he was on the scoresheet in a 4-1 victory. An east coast lad, he did not sign for Clydebank but ended up at Raith Rovers where he spent two years.
