Match Report
Clydebank qualified for the quarter final of the Sectional League Cup with a comfortable 5-2 win over Glasgow Perthshire.
The Bankies ran Perthshire ragged in the first half racing into a two goal lead through McElroy and Burns.
A bout of complacency can only explain the dreadful start to the second half as Perthshire drew level, and almost snatched the lead at one point.
However, substitutes Jamie Campbell and Joe Andrew steadied the ship, with the latter restoring the lead with his very first touch.
A straight red card for Perthshire's no 7 ended any hope for the home side, and the Bankies went on to score two further goals. Andrew notched his second with a screamer, and McElroy scored his second of the night with minutes remaining.
Clydebank topped their group with maximum points and will meet one from Shotts, Carluke or Wishaw in the next round.
