• Last Goal - Royal Albert 1 - 3 Clydebank

  Clydebank progressed to the last 16 of the Scottish Cup for the first time in four years with a less than resounding 3-1 victory over Royal Albert at Tileworks Park. Finding themselves a goal down at the break, the Bankies made two substitutions that helped turn the tide and a quick-fire double from Shelvey and McClair settled the nerves. Stevie Higgins added a third near the end to give the scoreline a bit more of a gloss to it.

• Last Appearance - Hurlford United 1 - 1 Clydebank

  A fluke goal by Ryan Caddis in stoppage time deprived the Bankies of a semi-final berth in the Scottish Junior Cup meaning the clubs must meet again in a replay in a week’s time. Clydebank had looked all set for victory through Jordan Shelvey’s classy finish midway through the second half and were further aided by Hurlford’s Ross Robertson being ordered off with ten minutes remaining. However, when Caddis picked up the ball wide on the left wing there was no apparent danger. With time running out, he desperately lumped a deep cross into the box. The ball over reached his forwards, but possibly aided with the wind sailed over Marc Waters and into the net. It was heart breaking for the Bankies to lose a goal in such a manner when they had defended so well throughout.
