Match Report

Clydebank Press

Clydebank fielded near enough a full-strength team in this closed door match with Kilbirnie Ladeside at Kilbowie on Monday evening.

The only two regulars missing were Tommy McGhee, whose place was taken by new boy Donnie Wilson, and Jimmy Caskie, who was unwell and was replaced by John McGunnigle.

In the second-half both teams fielded a number of substitutes. The Bankies replaced Gray, Fallon, Love and McDonald with Madden, Mc Millan and two trialists.

Both goals were scored by inside-left Wilson, in 39 and 86 minutes. His first was a tremendous shot from just inside the Kilbirnie penalty box, and his second was a header from a McMillan free-kick.
