Match Report

It's thumbs up from South American Ayrton Inacio who was on trial with Clydebank in a friendly against Motherwell at Kilbowie Park last night. The Bankles went down 3-1 after opening the scoring. Inacio, who played several games for Celtic reserves showed some nice touches but appeared to be shaken slightly by the tough tackling of the Motherwell defenders.

Clydebank went ahead after 20 minutes. Moore headed a Clearance from Wylie past a spreadeagled 'Well defence.

Twenty minutes later Motherwell got the equaliser when right winger Hogg crossed to Goldthorpe, who stabbed the ball home from close range.

Ten minutes after the interval John Goldthorpe put Motherwell ahead with a fine shot from 20 yards.

And 15 minutes later he scored his hat-trick with another long-range effort.
