Match Report

Bankies march on! After their great win over county rivals Dumbarton on New Years Day, they travelled through to Cowdenbeath on Tuesday and took two points from them.

Arthur Paterson opened the scoring in seven minutes heading home from a John Baxter cross.

Tony Moy raised his season total to 15 when he got Bankies second seven minutes later.

The home side pressed hard all through the second half and Bankies defence were hard pushed but they held out firmly until the end.

The two wins give Bankies a gigantic boost in the league table and put them in the top eight . With the season only halfway through they could even higher.
